TUNIS, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- President of the Tunisian football association Wadee' Al-Jaree' called on Tuesday for lifting the ban on Kuwait sport.
Al-Jaree' made the remarks during a meeting with Kuwait's Ambassador to Tunisia Ali Al-Dhefeeri, who congratulated Al-Jaree' for the national football team's qualification to the 2018 FIFA world cup.
Speaking to KUNA after the meeting, Al-Dhefeeri said qualification was an achievement for the Tunisian sport.
Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt qualified from the African continent, while Saudi Arabia qualified from Asia.
Al-Jaree' said Tunisia was standing behind Kuwait until the ban on sport was lifted. (end) ksj.bs
