Egyptian, Russian leaders discuss Syrian crisis' political settlement

CAIRO, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi held telephone talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin Tuesday on ongoing efforts to reach a political settlement for the Syrian crisis.
Al-Sisi and Putin agreed to continue consultations regarding the Syrian crisis and other issues in the Middle East, presidency spokesman Bassam Radhi said in a statement.
He said the two men also agreed on importance of restoring security and stability in the region.
The two leaders also discussed efforts to confront terrorism. (end) esm.bs
