KUNA media training center celebrates 22 anniversary

KUWAIT, Nov 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Center for the Development of Media Skills will celebrate its 22nd anniversary on November 20.
KUNA's media training center, established in 1995, has trained around 4,227 individuals from Kuwait and the GCC through hundreds of training courses.
The courses are held annually and are geared towards developing skills of media personnel and journalists. This year around 22 courses were held.
Speaking on the occasion, the media center's chairperson Abrar Al-Ghanem said that they provided training courses for whomever desire to develop their journalistic and media skills.
The center is keen on attracting the best Arab and foreign professionals to supervise media personnel and trainees, affirmed Al-Ghanem, adding that the training courses contained valuable information that would boost the knowledge of participants.
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) was founded according to an Amiri Decree in October 1979.
The agency gathers news and distributes it to individuals and media institutions to provide them with objective services. It focuses on Kuwait's just causes regionally and internationally.
