Decision on arrest warrant against Catalan leader postponed

BRUSSELS, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- A judge in a Brussels court Friday postponed a decision on the European arrest warrant issued by Spain for ousted Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont and four of his former ministers.
According to Belgian media reports, the state prosecutor had called for the implementation of the arrest warrant against them.
Puigdemont's lawyer said the case will be heard again on December 4.
The sacked Cataln leaders arrived in Brussels end October after Spain's general prosecutor charged them with rebellion, sedition and embezzlement following the unilateral declaration of independence in Catalonia. (end) nk.mt
