Riyadh conf. to boost Syrian opposition in Geneva talks - NCSROF chief

ANKARA, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces (NCSROF) Riad Seif said the Riyadh conference, November 22-23, will enhance position of the Syrian opposition in the next Geneva talks.
The Syrian opposition meeting in the Saudi capital will assess work of the High Negotiations Committee, and review the negotiating mechanisms, Seif told the Turkish Anadolu news agency Friday.
He stressed that it is decisively settled for the opposition that Syrian President Bashar Al-Asad must go.
The opposition will not waver, he said, adding that most participants in the Riyadh gathering support that view.
The NCSROF chief lauded Saudi Arabia's support to the Syrian people, hoping that the conference would come out with a clear view for the opposition. (end) rs.msa
