Min. says competitive projects to be offered for youth

KUWAIT, Nov 16 (KUNA) -- Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Minister of State for the Municipality Mohammad Nasser Al-Jabri said on Thursday that they would offer a number of projects for youth, with "future guarantees", in various competitive fields.
The small enterprises the ministry intends to offer will be the first gate for the Kuwaiti youth into the world of business, Al-Jabri said in a press statement.
He stressed the importance of caring for and supporting the Kuwaiti youth through adopting their ideas and providing them with opportunities.
Youth is the nation's real wealth and the potential power for development and innovating solutions to counter challenges, he noted.
A host of projects will be opened over the coming period as part of the efforts to fulfill youth expectations. These include Injaz project in Al-Rai and the kiosks at "Barayeh Salem," Salmiya.
The minister stressed the prime importance of achieving the ongoing projects, as well as the future ones contributing to the state development plan. (end) tms.nfa.msa
