NI Group requests suspending trades in its stocks

KUWAIT, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- National Industries Group Holding (NI Group) on Wednesday asked Boursa Kuwait management to halt trades in its stocks immediately pending a settlement among its partners and determining seriousness of a withdrawal offer in one of its investments, in which it has 24 percent of the stakes.
The company said in a statement on Boursa Kuwait website that an agreement was being worked out with the buyer.
The K.S.C. was established in 1960 and was enlisted by the local bourse in 1984. Its capital amounts to KD 135.9 million (USD 44.3 million). It trades in stocks, seeks stakes' acquisitions, offers loans and invests in portfolios. 9end) mke.rk
