Kuwaiti Capital Markets Authority OKs Americana's pullout from bourse

KUWAIT, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Capital Markets Authority (CMA) declared on Sunday its approval for voluntary pullout of Americana food company from Boursa Kuwait.
The CMA said on its website that Americana's tradable stocks constitute 6.567 percent of the overall shares, enlisted in the bourse.
Americana was founded in 1963 and enlisted in the Kuwaiti bourse (formerly the stock exchange) in 1984, at a capital of KD 40.2 million (some USD 131 million).
The company trades in food, beverages in Kuwait and some Arab countries. (end) mke.rk
