US strongly condemns terrorist attacks in Egypt

WASHINGTON, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- The US strongly condemned Saturday the terrorist attack in Egypt near the Bahariya Oasis that killed dozens of Egyptian security forces and wounded many others.
"The United States stands with Egypt at this difficult time, as we continue to work together to fight the scourge of terrorism," State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert said in a statement.
"We offer our profound condolences to the families of the deceased and the government and people of Egypt, and extend our best wishes for the full and speedy recovery of those injured," she remarked. (end) si.ma
