Kuwaiti oil price up 48 cents to USD 53.45 per barrel

KUWAIT, Oct 12 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up 48 cents on Wednesday to settle at USD 53.45 per barrel, compared to USD 52.97 per barrel last Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Thursday.
In world markets, oil prices were up Wednesday after reports OPEC members to support production due to expectation of increase in demand in 2018, including increased tension in Iraq's Kurdistan region.
Oil crude price Brent mixed was up 33 cents to stand at USD 56.94 while the US crude oil up 38 cents and settle at USD 51.30 per barrel. (end) asj.mb
