ISLAMABAD, Sept 30 (KUNA) -- The Commander of the Kuwaiti Air Force Major General Abdullah Al-Foudari visited Pakistani Air Force (PAF) headquarters in the federal capital Islamabad on Saturday, discussing issues of proessional interest with his Pakistani counterpart Sohail Aman.
According to an official press release, both officials touched on matters of mutual interest, with the visiting Kuwaiti delegation also attending a briefing on the organization, role and function of PAF.
The Kuwaiti air force commander lauded PAF's role in the war against terrorism, saying he appreciated the sound professionalism of its personnel and expressed his desire to learn from their experiences.
Meanwhile, Aman said that Pakistan and Kuwait enjoyed cordial and brotherly relations, reiterating his resolve to stand by Kuwait in any hour of need.
He also offered the Kuwaiti side support in the field of aviation and military training, said the release.
Earlier on Friday, the Kuwaiti Air Force Commander attended the 119th passing out parade of Combat Support Force held at PAF academy in Risalpur, where as many as 12 Kuwaiti cadtes participated. (end) sbk.nam
