Kuwait eyes closer trade ties with Ukraine - Sheikh Nemer Al-Sabah

MOSCOW, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Assistant Undersecretary for International Organizations and Foreign Trade at Kuwait's Commerce Ministry Sheikh Nemer Al-Sabah stressed the importance of bolstering trade and commercial ties with Ukraine.
Al-Sabah made his remarks to KUNA Friday after the conclusion of the third meeting of the Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The meeting reviewed several bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade, economic, investment, private sector, civil aviation, and agriculture, he noted.
The committee also discussed a number of issues regarding overcoming obstacles facing the two nations in order to push their commercial relationship march forward, said Al-Sabah.
The two sides also exchanged views on agreements and MoUs in industrial cooperation, standardization activities, investments, culture, science researches, agriculture, youth, ports, health, and civil aviation, he added.
Such discussions would contribute significantly in boosting the Kuwaiti-Ukrainian relations, the Kuwaiti official affirmed.
Al-Sabah also mentioned that his ministry is currently implementing signed commercial agreements, and also activating joint committees to strengthen Kuwait's bilateral ties with world countries. (end) as.ma
