Kuwaitis in Mexico safe after quake - embassy

WASHINGTON, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwaitis in Mexico are all safe after the devastating quake that hit the country, the Kuwaiti embassy said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the embassy urged Kuwaitis in the North American country to closely follow the instructions and directives of the local authorities for their safety, and to keep in contact with the embassy through the phone numbers: +521 5513632619 and +521 5552451714.
The embassy is full ready to offer services and assistance to Kuwaitis in Mexico, the statement stressed.
The magnitude 7.1 earthquake rocked central Mexico Tuesday afternoon, hitting on the 32nd anniversary of the biggest quake to strike the capital Mexico City, killed or wounded scores of people. (end) ss.tb
