Kuwaiti oil price down 36 cents to USD 52.59 pb

KUWAIT, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil dropped 7 cents to USD 52.59 per barrel in Tuesday's trading down from USD 52.66 per barrel on Monday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
The drop in global oil prices comes following expectations of a rise in US crude reserves.
It also comes ahead of a meeting OPEC and other major oil exporters to discuss lowering production quotas.
The price of the Brent crude shedded 34 cents to USD 55.14 per barrel while the West Texas Intermediate dropped 43 cents to USD 49.48 pb. (end) osj.sd
