American giant Co. Honeywell plans "summit" in Kuwait

KUWAIT, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- The American conglomerate Honeywell said on Sunday it would hold a "summit" in Kuwait on October 3 for swapping ideas among industrialists for revamping the local sector.
Honeywell chairman in Kuwait George Bou-Metri said a news conference that the two-day summit aims at backing up Kuwait's strategy of transforming into a global hub for the oil, gas and petrochemicals' industries.
Technological development is fundamental Ii the State of Kuwait's approach, designed to overhaul the oil and gas sectors, he said, revealing that the gathering would comprise more than 300 executives from the energy sector.
