Education Ministry declares opening nomination for Best GCC Teacher Award

KUWAIT, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- Ministry of Education on Sunday declared start of nomination for Mohamed Bin Zayed Best GCC Teacher Award.
Male and Female teachers of various levels are entitled to enroll in the candidacy for the award in the first edition of the scholastic year (2017-2018), Yusuf Al-Najar, the assistant undersecretary for educational development, said in a statement.
He has affirmed the ministry approach to provide incentives for the teaching staff.
The AED six million (USD 1.63 million) Mohamed bin Zayed Award for the Best GCC Teacher was launched in Abu Dhabi in April. Winner from each of the GCC countries will be granted one million dirhams (USD 272,000). (END) mrf.rk
