Kuwait partakes in WHO forum on limiting medicines' misuse

KUWAIT, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Health will partake in the World Health Organization's third international challenge forum due in Oman on Sunday.
Dr. Buthaina Al-Mudhaf, in charge of quality health care at the MoH, said in a statement on Saturday that the forum would tackle medical issues namely medicines' side-effects.
The gathering aims at limiting harm caused by misuse of drugs worldwide, she said, noting that many patients suffer from such harm per year, in addition to thousands of fatalities due to the erroneous usage of drugs. (end) ndq.rk
