KUWAIT, July 25 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil was down by USD 1.27 to USD 44.91 per barrel (pb) on Monday as oppose to USD 46.18 pb on Friday, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Tuesday.
Globally, the prices were up during Monday's trading after Saudi Arabia, the biggest oil producer in OPEC, pledged to lower it exports for the sake of finding a balance between supplies and demands.
The Brent crude price for September delivery went up to USD 48.59 per barrel, the same case occurred to the September contract of the West Texas Intermediate, which went up to USD 46.18 pb. (end)
