Deputy press secretary to replace Spicer - White House

WASHINGTON, July 21 (KUNA) -- Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will replace Sean Spicer as White House Press Secretary, it was announced Friday.
The newly appointed Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci told reporters that Sanders is going to be the press secretary.
He thanked Spicer "not only on behalf of myself, the president, the administration, but Sean is a true American patriot, he's a military serviceman, he's got a great family, and he's done an amazing job." Regarding reports of a "tense relationship" between him and White House chief of staff Reince Priebus, he said "we rough each other up once in a while, which is totally normal for brothers, but he's a dear friend. He brought me into the political system." Meanwhile, Sanders told reporters that Spicer "will continue to serve the administration through August." Regarding Scaramucci's appointment, in a statement read by Sanders, U.S. President Donald Trump said he is "a person I have great respect for. And he will be an important addition to this administration." He added "he's been a great supporter and will now help implement key aspects of our agenda while leading the communications team. We have accomplished so much, and we are being given credit for so little." For his part, Spicer tweeted that "it's been an honor and privilege" to serve Trump "and this amazing country" and that he will continue his "service" through August. (Pick up previous) si.mb
