Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusogl meets his US counterpart Rex Tillerson
ISTANBUL, July 9 (KUNA) -- Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusogl and his US counterpart Rex Tillerson on Sunday discussed the latest developments in the region.
Cavusogl received Tillerson at his office and tackled some dossiers, Turkey's Anadolu Agency said. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to meet with Tillerson later, it added.
The US minister took part in the inauguration of the world petroleum congress that kicked off earlier today in Istanbul. (end)
