RIYADH, July 8 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry stated on Saturday that two security personnel were injured in a terrorist attack that targeted a security patrol in the Saudi governorate of Al-Qatif.
At 12:15 am on Saturday a security patrol was attacked by an explosive shell when passing by an under construction building at Al-Naserah District in the governorate, a statement by the Security Spokesman of Saudi's Interior Ministry said.
The injured were transferred to a hospital to receive their needed treatment, the statement added.
Moreover, Saudi security authorities begun their investigations of this heinous terrorist act. (end)
