TEHRAN, July 3 (KUNA) -- Iran's firefighters on Monday managed to put out fire broke out at a refinery in the town of Abadan.
Six firefighters were wounded while extinguishing the fire, which broke out when a maintenance team tried to cut water and gas pipes, said Fars News Agency.
Two of the injured have serious conditions and were taken to a hospital in Al Ahwaz, while two others were admitted to Abadan hospital, the agency said.
The firefighters contained the fire expeditiously, it noted. (end)
