KUWAIT, June 28 (KUNA) -- Gold price has settled at USD 1,250 per ounce increasing by 15 dollars as compared to the week start rates, according to Sabaek Al-Kuwait company.
The company said in its weekly report released on Wednesday that the gold price decline, over the past weeks, was due to corrections.
As to silver, its rate exceeded USD 16.75 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the local market witnessed noticeably hefty purchases, targeting in particular manufactured gold items and jewelry. (end)
