KUWAIT, June 11 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, during his recent visits to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, made it his mission to resolve the tension among GCC brothers, said First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Sunday.
In a statement by the Foreign Ministry, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled affirmed that the unity of the GCC nations was paramount to the people of the region, stressing that Kuwait, led by His Highness the Amir, is determined to find a solution to the current dilemma.
A solution will surely be found, said the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, stressing that the recent visits by His Highness the Amir will resolve issues of disputes amongst the involved parties.
He affirmed that the Qataris were willing to hold dialogue to bring upon a solution to the matter and bolster peace and security in the region. (end)
