French Pres.: Iran's nuclear deal "important"

TEHRAN, May 22 (KUNA) -- French President Emmanuel Macron Monday considered the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group as "important" and would contribute to regional and international security.
Macron, in a phone call with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to congratulate him on re-election, said the nuclear agreement that was signed two years ago should be supported by all parties.
He was quoted by official media as calling on need of developing trade, economic, banking, tourism and educational cooperation between France and Iran.
Rouhani welcomed the French investors to invest in infrastructure and transportation sectors. (end) mw.bs
