U.S. dollar steady against Kuwaiti dinar

KUWAIT, May 22 (KUNA) -- The US currency on Monday settled at KD 0.303; likewise the euro at KD 0.339 as compared to Sunday's rates.
The Central Bank of Kuwait said in its daily online bulletin that the sterling pound dropped to KD 0.394, the Swiss franc steadied at KD 0.311 as well as the Japanese yen, KD 0.002.
The greenback, in last Friday's trades, turned bearish posting the heaviest weekly loss since a year ago, amid political uncertainties shrouding US President Donald Trump's administration.
However, the euro in the last Friday operations turned bullish amid traders' anticipation of new monetary policies and receding fears over political hazards in the euro zone. (end) mam.rk
