Kuwait, Jordan discuss boosting bilateral economic ties

The DEAD SEA, Jordan, May 21 (KUNA) -- Bolstering the Kuwaiti-Jordanian economic, trade and investment ties was the focus of bilateral talks here on Sunday.
Kuwait's Minister of Commerce and Industry and Khalid Al-Roudan held the talks with Jordan's Minister of Industry Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East and North Africa at the Dead Sea.
Al-Roudan, who doubles as Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Qudah discussed supporting business incubators, and the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Arab World.
They reiterated that the Kuwaiti-Jordan economic ties offer a model example on the Arab scene.
The forum, themed "Empowering Generations into the Future," concluded today its three-day events, after it brought together about 1,100 public and private sector officials as well as political and business leaders from more than 50 countries. (end) mjb.msa
