Trump rallies in Pennsylvania marking his 100th day in office

WASHINGTON, April 30 (KUNA) -- U.S. President Donald Trump rallied in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Saturday marking his 100th day in office shed light on his accomplishments during his first 100 days in office.
Trump touched on many issues in his speech, mainly on a domestic front, where he reiterated his vow to make America great again.
He also vowed that if "anyone illegally enters the U.S. they will be caught, detained, deported or put in prison," saying "it will happen," and that he will build the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Meanwhile, Trump stressed that since he took office his administration "has taken historic steps to improve screening and vetting for those seeking visas to enter the U.S." "We have seen the attacks from 9/11 to Boston to San Bernardino," he said, "we have seen the blood shed overseas." He added "we already have enough problems to worry about in the U.S. ".. we don't need to be admitting people who want to oppress, hurt or kill innocent Americans," affirmed "they're not coming in." "We are going to keep radical Islamic terrorists the hell out of our country," he vowed.
He noted that under the leadership of Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis "we have begun the process of rebuilding our military and restoring full readiness." He added that "we have also stepped up the fight against (IS) and we will not stop until it has been destroyed." Furthermore, he said "at the same time we have strengthened our friendships and alliances around the world." He mentioned China, saying "as you know I've been a big critic of China, and I've been talking about currency manipulation for a long time." "We have currency manipulation by China but China is helping us possibly or probably with the North Korean situation. It's a great thing," he remarked.
Also marking his 100th day in office, Trump signed an Executive Order for the establishment of the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy (OTMP), where its mission will be to "defend and serve American workers and domestic manufacturers while advising the President on policies to increase economic growth, decrease the trade deficit, and strengthen the United States manufacturing and defense industrial bases." Meanwhile, in his weekly address, Trump said he believes that "the first 100 days of my Administration has been just about the most successful in our country's history," adding "in just fourteen weeks, my administration has brought profound change to Washington." "Since my inauguration, economic confidence has soared-reaching higher than any time in nine years. Optimism among manufacturers is at a record high. And small business confidence has seen its largest increase in nearly four decades," he remarked.
According to Gallup, Trump's approval ratings are the lowest any president has had at 100 days in recent memory, where he stood at 39 percent compared to last three of his predecessors.(end) si.tg
