Iran condemns St. Petersburg bombings

TEHRAN, April 3 (KUNA) -- Iran has strongly denounced the terrorist attacks that targeted two underground stations in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on Monday.
In a press statement, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said that the killing of civilians and state destabilization acts are completely unacceptable whatever the motives were.
He expressed his country's sympathy with the Russian government, people and families of the victims.
He also called for global collective action to defeat terrorists. (end) mw.ibi
