Companies contracted with gov't urged to check number of nat'l workers

KUWAIT, March 28 (KUNA) -- Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) on Tuesday appealed to employers who have contracts with government bodies to inspect number of national workers registered at their companies.
The move aims to make sure that the status of workers is compatible with resolution No 1028 of 2014 that was issued by the Cabinet on determining the number of national labor at companies which have contracts with government bodies.
Kholoud Al-Shahab, Deputy Director for Financial and Human Resources at PAM, announced today that the information technology department has finalized the mechanization of procedures of applying the resolution regarding number of national workers at these companies.
She added that there are staff at the projects and contracts department to receive owners of contracts or their legal representatives who need to provide further details in this matter. (end) mth.hm
