20 strikes in Syria, 10 in Iraq target IS -- coalition

WASHINGTON, March 28 (KUNA) -- Coalition military forces on Monday conducted 30 strikes consisting of 72 engagements against the so-called Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, the Combined Joint Task Force announced on Tuesday.
In Syria, coalition forces conducted 20 strikes consisting of 32 engagements near Abu Kamal, Al Shadaddi, Ar Raqqa, Dayr Az Zawr and Tabqah, the announcement said.
In Iraq, the forces conducted 10 strikes consisting of 40 engagements near Bayji, Kisik, Mosul, Rawah and Tal Afar, the statement said. (end) rm.mt
