Turkey summons Swiss Amb. over PKK rally in Bern

ANKARA, March 26 (KUNA) -- Turkey's Foreign Ministry summoned Sunday Swiss ambassador in Ankara Walter Haffner over a PKK rally targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Bern on Saturday.
The step came just one day after the Turkish ministry summoned the Swiss deputy ambassador in Ankara as Haffner was out of the city.
PKK supporters took part in the rally on Saturday in front of the Federal Parliament building, located in Parliament Square in Bern.
During the rally, the supporters hoisted the banner, which had a photo of Erdogan, a gun pointed to his head and said "Kill Erdogan" on it.
The latest move follows a diplomatic row between Turkey and some EU countries as the latter blocked several Turkish officials from addressing public rallies there ahead of Turkey's April 16 constitutional referendum. (end) mt
