LONDON, March 23 (KUNA) -- The man who carried out Wednesday's attack outside the British parliament buildings is affiliated with militants and supporters of the so-called Islamic State, the British Secretary of State for Defense announced on Thursday.
Sir Michael Fallon told the BBC all state security agencies have been involved in the dragnet around Westminster, noting that London has always been a target for terrorists.
He has indicated that it is quite hard for the security authorities to predict attacks with simple means, such as a knife and a car, as happened yesterday, outside Westminster.
He ruled out possible imminent attacks now and vowed to track down and bring to justice any accomplices. (end) kd.rk
