Speaker Al-Ghanim meets his Sweden counterpart in Stockholm

KUWAIT, March 23 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim and his accompanying delegation met with Swedish Parliament Speaker Urban Ahlin in Stockholm, said a statement Thursday.
A statement by Kuwait National Assembly's media and public relation department said that a number of Swedish MPs attended the meeting, which discussed issues of mutual concerns, parliamentary matters, and legislative cooperation.
The statement added that the meeting also discussed the upcoming International Parliamentary Union (IPU) Conference, which will be held in Bangladesh on April first.
The meeting was attended by a number of Kuwaiti MPs in addition to Kuwait's Ambassador to Sweden Nabil Al-Dakhil. (end) fn.mys
