KUWAIT, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Bourse Company has appointed two new members of its Board of Directors, Talal Al-Ghanim and Sulaiman Al-Marzouq, to bring the board's lineup to a total of eight highly proficient officials, the company's President Mohammad Al-Saqqaf announced on Tuesday.
Speaking to the press, Al-Saqqaf said that the company is at the cusp of a new phase, where it seeks to restore order in the capital market, noting that the company is eager to acquire the services of consummate professionals, whose efforts will help transform Kuwait into a financial hub.
Moreover, he revealed that the decision to hire Al-Ghanim and Al-Marzouq was made by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to fill in positions left vacant by the resignations of two board members, namely, Essam Al-Marzouq, who is now Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water, along with Mousa Al-Kandari.
