KUWAIT, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti embassies, consulates, and diplomatic missions abroad continued Tuesday to celebrate Kuwait's 56th National Day and 26th Liberation Anniversary.
Kuwait Embassy in Turkey held a reception to celebrate the occasion, with the attendance of senior officials.
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Ankara Ghassan Al-Zuwawi congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti leadership, and people on the occasion, wishing further development and prosperity for Kuwait.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Ambassador in Moscow Abdulaziz Al-Adwani also held a reception attended by Russian officials, Arab and Western diplomats, journalists, religious figures and businesspersons.
Al-Adwani, speaking to KUNA, he congratulated the Kuwaiti leadership and people on the national days.
He noted that Kuwait and Russia enjoyed good relations at the political, economic, trade and investment levels, adding that the two countries have cultural and academic potentials in common.
In Nairobi, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Kenya hosted a reception where a number of Kenyan senior officials and Arab, Gulf, and foreign diplomatic missions gathered.
Ambassador Qusay Rashid Al-Farhan conveyed, on behalf of the diplomatic staff, the best wishes to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister well as all the Kuwaiti people and government on this occasion.
He praised the level of bilateral relations between the two countries, hoping that they would witness further promotion and progress. (end) haq
