ISTANBUL, Feb 26 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Teyyip Erdogan held talks in Istanbul Sunday with President of Iraq's Kurdistan Masoud Barzani on, among other issues, military operations to liberate northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
The two leaders would also discuss developments in Talafar, the presence of Kurdistan Workers Party's (PKK) elements in northern Iraq as well as Syria's crisis, sources at the presidency were quoted by official media as saying.
Barzani arrived in Istanbul earlier today, with the Kurdish flag hoisted beside the Turkish one. (pickup previous)
