Coalition launches 29 strikes in Syria, Iraq

WASHINGTON, Feb 20 (KUNA) -- US-led coalition against so-called Islamic State (IS) launched 29 strikes in Syria and Iraq, consisting of 92 engagements, Sunday, the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said in its daily report.
In Syria, 16 strikes consisting of 29 engagements hit IS targets near Al Shaddadi, Al Bab, Ar Raqqah, Palmyra, and Dayr Az Zawr, the report showed.
In Iraq, 13 strikes consisting of 63 engagements hit IS targets near Haditha, Huwayjah, Mosul, Rawah, Taji, and Tal Afar, the report said. (end) ak.bs
