His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying official delegation arrived in Muscat, Oman, Monday for an official visit.
His Highness was received at the airport by Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said of Oman amid popular reception ceremonies by Omani troupes for popular and traditional arts to welcome His Highness the Amir.
Omani Deputy Prime Minister Fahad bin Mahmood Al-Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Kuwaiti Ambassador Fahad Al-Hajeri, and members of the embassy's staff were also present at the airport to receive His Highness the Amir.
Afterwards, the two leaders held talks at Al-Alam Palace after leaving the airport, during which they exchanging friendly talks and reviewed the Kuwaiti-Omani brotherly ties and fruitful cooperation in various fields.
His Highness the Amir and Sultan Qaboos also stressed the importance of attaining joint interests of both countries and people under the framework of GCC's principles that include achieving the aspirations and ambitions of Gulf people based on the historic ties between the council's countries and people.
