One child killed, 15 wounded in car attack S. Turkey

ANKARA, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- A three-year-old child was killed and 15 people were wounded in an explosion of a booby-trapped car that took place in a Sanliurfa city in Southeastern Turkey, said a Turkish official on Friday.
The attack targeted lodgings housing of judges and prosecutors in Viransehir district, Sanliurfa Governor Gungor Tuna added in a statement.
He noted that the wounded were admitted to governmental hospitals. Nobody has claimed so far its responsibility for the attack.
Several Turkish cities, including Ankara and Istanbul, have been attacked by the so-called Islamic State (IS) and Kurdistan Workers' Party.
As a result of these attacks, scores were killed and hundreds were wounded. (end) rs.hm
