National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim with Speaker of the UAE National Council Amal Abdullah Al-Qubaisi during the signature ceremony
KUWAIT, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim Monday held talks with visiting Speaker of the UAE National Council Amal Abdullah Al-Qubaisi and her accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed how to coordinate mutual parliamentary positions in continental and international parliamentary events and fora, especially Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) meetings due in Dhaka early April.
Several heated issues and subjects in regional and international arenas were also considered during the meeting.
Following the talks, the Kuwaiti and UAE parliament speakers signed a cooperative agreements in parliamentary, legislative and legal fields, in addition to training, development, research and information systems.
Afterwards, the Kuwaiti speaker held a luncheon banquet in honor of the visiting UAE guest and her accompanying delegation. (end)
