Kuwait's driver Mishari Al-Dhefeeri and Qatari 1st winner Rashed Al-Nuaimi during the inaguration ceremony
DOHA, Feb 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's driver Mishari Al-Dhefeeri and co-driver Fares Al-Dhefeeri came second Saturday in Qatar's International Rally, the first stage of FIA's Middle East Rally Championship 2017.
The Qatari race, won by home favorite Rashed Al-Nuaimi, witnessed 12 racers who showed their skills off the road.
Mishari Al-Dhefeeri, in a statement to KUNA, said the race was tough and that he would continue his technical and mechanical preparations for upcoming stages.
He thanked the Kuwaiti fans for supporting him throughout the race. (end)
