National Security Bureau Chief Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali Al-Sabah receives US Ambassador to Kuwait Lawrence Silverman
KUWAIT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- National Security Bureau Chief Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali Al-Sabah on Thursday received US Ambassador to Kuwait Lawrence Silverman discussing bilateral ties and issues of common interest.
The Security Bureau said in a statement that Sheikh Thamer received Silverman on the occasion of his appointment as the new top American diplomat to the country. He also wished him success during his tenure.
Separately, the bureau chief hosted the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Sunil Jain, holding talks on the Kuwaiti-Indian relations, means of promoting these ties and regional affairs of joint concern. (end)
