Kuwait's KRCS continues to aid Syrians in Lebanon

BEIRUT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) continued Tuesday its campaign to aid the Syrian refugees in eastern Lebanon, providing them with necessities to help fend off the harsh cold weather.
Head of the KRCS field team, Jafar Al-Jamali told KUNA the recent batch of relief aid included materials such as clothing, fuel for heating, and other necessities.
The KRCS official affirmed that Kuwait will continue to aid the Syrian refugees who are escaping the chaos in their country since 2011.
Many of the estimated 1.5 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon live in squalid conditions and poorly-built shanty towns. (end) mah.gta
