KRCS dispatches 22nd batch of relief supplies to Syrian refugees in Jordan

AMMAN, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) on Monday distributed the 22nd batch of relief aid and supplies to the Syrian refugees in Jordan.
The 110-ton aid batch included a variety of food items such as dates, meat and chicken derivatives.
آ آ آ Head of the KRCS delegation in Jordan Mohammad Al-Mutairi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the current shipment is the first to be distributed in 2017, adding that other batches would follow suit over the coming weeks.
آ آ آ He stressed keenness of KRCS to provide relief and humanitarian support to the stricken Syrian people in the neighboring countries and inside Syria and to provide the necessary needs for the refugees through a series of plans and programs in place since the outbreak of the crisis.
آ آ آ He praised in this regard the role played by the Jordanian Red Crescent Society, KRCS' main partner, for the facilities it has provided to the Kuwaiti delegations.(end).
