Kuwait hands over food baskets to 25,000 displaced Iraqis in Irbil

(WITH HUM-IRAQ-KUWAIT-AID) IRBIL, Jan 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwait has distributed food items to around 25,000 Iraqi displaced from Mosul and taken up refuge in Depkh camp, near Irbil.
Barazni Charity Foundation, under the supervision of Kuwait general consulate in Irbil, has handed over 3,500 food packages to around 3,500 displaced families (about 25,000 persons).
Head of distribution at Barazani Charity Foundation Mohammad Bahaldeen expressed appreciation to the Kuwait for its humanitarian assistance.
Kuwait gave out more than 170,000 food baskets last year. (end) sbr.nfm
