Amiri Diwan Minister receives Pres. Of Al-Multaqa Prize

KUWAIT, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- Amiri Diwan Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received president of Al-Multaqa Prize for short story Taleb Al-Refai, on Wednesday.
Al-Refai was accompanied by professors of the American University of Kuwait (AUK) Dr. Rawda Awwad and Amal Al-Binali who introduced the judging panel of the prize and its winners.
Al-Multaqa Prize is an annual prize founded by AUK that focuses on Arabic short story; its objective is to encourage creativity in Arab fiction and highlight the achievements of the Arab narrative. (end) abd.nfm
