Kuwait Consul General in Dubai and UAE's Northern Emirates Theyab Al-Rashidi during the special ceremony of Kuwait's Consulate General to mark the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s 45th National Day
DUBAI, Dec 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Consulate General in Dubai held a special ceremony Monday to mark the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s 45th National Day, in presence of a number of Emirati officials, in addition to heads of diplomatic missions in Dubai.
The Kuwaiti-Emirati ties have always been distinctive, Kuwait Consul General in Dubai and UAE's Northern Emirates Theyab Al-Rashidi said in his speech at the ceremony.
The two countries also share similar interest in preserving the joint Gulf heritage and boosting their mutual cooperation in various fields, Al-Rashidi said.
UAE has become one of the advanced countries around the world in several fields such as human development, sustainable energy, knowledge economy, and modern infrastructure, noted the Kuwaiti diplomat.
He also affirmed that the UAE has achieved throughout its 45th march significant levels of development and leadership on regional and international levels due to the wise leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum who complete the materialization of the plans and vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, UAE's founding father and former President, for the development of his country.
