His Highness Amir sends cable to French Pres.

KUWAIT, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday sent a cable to the French President Franأ§ois Hollande.
His Highness the Amir expressed deep pleasure for the President's participation, together with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in the concluding session of the "Safeguarding Endangered Cultural Heritage" conference in Abu Dhabi, sponsored by the UNESCO.
His Highness the Amir lauded the high-profile world attention the conference attracted, the numerous countries that took part, and the outcome that would urge the international community to develop effective mechanisms and viable solutions to preserve the world's cultural heritage against the several threats imposed by wars, armed conflicts and illegal trafficking operations.
His Highness the Amir wished the French President good health and pleasure, further prosperity for the Republic, and more development for bilateral relations. (end) msa
