AMMAN, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- Commander of Kuwait's Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy Major-General Bader Al-Awadhi described Monday military cooperation with Jordan was "integrated and excellent," particularly at training and academic levels.
He said military cooperation with Jordan included training and exercises, special courses for Staff, strategic national defense and warfare.
Al-Awadhi was speaking to KUNA on sidelines of a graduation ceremony of Kuwaiti officers from the Jordanian Royal Military Academy, part of the 12th batch.
He thanked the political and military leaderships in Jordan for hosting the Kuwaiti officers, and facilitating their mission.
Colonel Turki Al-Mishaal, Kuwait's Military Attache to Jordan, said 87 Kuwaiti officers have graduated from the Jordanian academy.
Al-Mishaal said the academy was offering a wide-range of one-year programs, which fell in line with requirements of the military institution in Kuwait.
Jordanian King Abdullah II patronized earlier today the graduation of the 12th batch of officers from the royal academy, who included the Kuwaiti officers. (end) mjb.bs
